The drawings of political borders between countries on different continents form the soundtrack of Songlines. Each score brings together all the borders of a single continent, and is later translated into sound. When all the drawings are put together, they form a kind of world map of land borders between countries.

We recorded the first live performance of Songlines, a collaboration between visual artist Marina Camargo and musician Marcelo Cabral, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "A Certa Sombra", curated by Paulo Miyada. The record of the performance, held in the auditorium of Instituto Ling, then became part of the body of the exhibition, being displayed along with the set of scores.
