FISHES is a dance-theater show that evokes the collective strength of a school of fish that dances its routine in choreographic compositions inspired by the diversity and mysteries of the sea. A metaphor to reflect on the ways of living and the tomorrow we are creating. Not only for our species, but for all. The fish operate as an analogy for society whose attention span, increasingly shorter and fragmented, is caught by different stimuli. In a dreamlike plot, the school of fish is carried by the movement of the ocean currents. As it dives towards the abyssal waters, hybrid and mutant figures coexist in their own mythology. The corals lose their color and an oil slick disguised as a storm puts the survival of the school and its environment at risk. Who would have thought that diving so deep would be an encounter with the future? The dancing fish remind us that humans and their movements are not dissociated from nature. On the bottom of the world, being in a collective is an exercise in imagination and survival.
