The project is the result of an international collaboration between Canadian pianist Marc Bourdeau, who performs music by his fellow countryman Denis Gougeon, and director Caio Amon and choreographer Camila Vergara, both Brazilian artists.

Sweet Times
Marc Bourdeau
Music video for classical song
A music video for a classical piece of music and filmed in a colorful, cinematic style, Doux Temps explores the stark contrast between, on the one hand, the somewhat routine daily lives of four characters and, on the other, the lyrical inspiration of the lyrics and music, which evoke the amorous passions of the 'sweet times' of youth.
Looking at the camera and lip-syncing to the soprano's singing, each character gradually lets themselves be carried away by these happy memories, which awaken a feeling of relaxation and euphoria.
Funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, Doux Temps is a North-South collaboration between Brazilian filmmaker Caio Amon and Canadian pianist Marc Bourdeau, accompanied by soprano Jacqueline Woodley.
We also produced a making of for this production, which can be accessed here .

Romantic Prelude
Marc Bordeau
Music video for Canadian pianist
Inspired by the idea that imagining colors and textures can enrich and deepen a musical interpretation, Prélude Romantique is a music video based on the eponymous piano piece by Quebec composer André Mathieu. It explores the layering of textures from analog films, the artist’s performance at the piano, and images of a road trip in the Eastern Townships, a bucolic region of Quebec. The project is a north-south collaboration between Canadian pianist Marc Bourdeau, Brazilian filmmaker Caio Amon, and Guatemalan-Canadian cinematographer Yann-Manuel Hernandez.

Rain Day
Marc Bourdeau
Music video for the musical work by Rachel Laurin and Marc Bourdeau
Jour de pluie – a music video based on the piano piece of the same name by Canadian composer Rachel Laurin – explores rain as a symbol of hope and renewal. The viewer is taken on a journey into the reverie and anguish of a young woman’s subconscious. The innocent occurrence of a tear falling into a teacup triggers a series of dreamlike associations delving into the highs and lows of motherhood. The final scene of rain washes away anxiety and offers a ray of hope.
A dialogue between surrealist cinema, aesthetics inspired by Brazilian Carnival, editorial photography and evocative piano music, the film is a collaboration between Brazilian filmmaker Caio Amon and Canadian pianist Marc Bourdeau, bridging the North and the South.
We also produced a making of for this production, which can be accessed here .
Selected for Experimental Brasil 2023, Short Way International Short Film Festival 2024 (São Paulo).
Songlines
Marina Camargo
Recording of live artistic performance.
The drawings of the political borders between countries on different continents form the soundtrack of Songlines. Each score brings together all the borders of a single continent, which are then set to music. The collection of all the drawings forms a kind of world map of land borders between countries.
We recorded the first live performance of Songlines, a collaboration between visual artist Marina Camargo and musician Marcelo Cabral, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "A Certa Sombra", curated by Paulo Miyada. The recording of the performance, held in the auditorium of the Instituto Ling, later became part of the body of the exhibition, being shown together with the set of scores.
Shown at the Ling Institute in 2023.

Serenade
Cynthia of the Saints
Graphic art and video clips for classical music album.
Graphic art and music videos for a classical music album. Serenata follows the intriguing trajectory of the song for voice and fortepiano through places, times and languages. A journey that begins in the German Baroque, passes through Viennese classicism, crosses the Atlantic to colonial Brazil under João VI, docking at Porto dos Casais in the Azores. It is more than a hundred years of classical songbook accompanied by the fortepiano – an instrument that preceded the modern piano and that is rescued in this research in all its sonority. Love, humor, melancholy – human feelings and perceptions that vibrate in this repertoire and that still find lively resonance in the present times.

Pampian
Olinda Allessandrini
Project of 14 video clips, website and DVD about the piano of the pampas.
Audiovisual direction of a medium-length video album. The project brings together 14 video clips by pianist Olinda Allessandrini interpreting the music of Brazilian, Argentine and Uruguayan composers, inspired by the folk culture of the region. The performances interact with scenes recorded by the director and team on a road trip along the border between Brazil and Uruguay. Performing a selection of works by Brazilian, Uruguayan and Argentinean composers, the pianist invites you on a poetic immersion in the pampas region, whose common culture blurs the borders of the countries in the extreme south of the Americas. Visual essays of the land, man and his work interact with an exclusive repertoire for piano, reinterpreting local traditions and proposing a contemporary experience of music and image. Vast landscapes without limits; dresses and boots, country stores; literary quotes in the voice of poet Nelson Coelho de Castro; Olinda's reflections on the universe of the piano – all the strength and lyricism of local music without borders.
